In memoriam: Ida Rosenberger


Ida Rosenberger, 89, of Shandon died Wednesday, March 14, at the Golden Years Nursing Center in Hamilton. She retired from Miami University's King Library in 1988.

She retired with more than 25 years from Miami, first working in Richard Hall as a manager, and then working in the library's catalog department.

She is survived by her friend, Jim Verssen; three daughters (all of whom retired from Miami), Kathleen (Ron) Pflum, Carolyn (Francis) Bihr, and Geraldine (James) Schick; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Pauline Jurkowitz; one brother-in-law Ardwin Hoog; and many other loving family members and friends.

Her services were at Young Funeral home in Ross. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Evercare Hospice, Morgan Township, Crosby Township Historical Society or a charity of your choice.
