Workshop focuses on teaching and learning


Miami University graduate students can engage in a one-semester series of seminars, workshops and activities about teaching and learning. Attend either Aug. 21 or Aug. 23 to get started. Information available through Center for the Enhancement of Learning, Teaching and University Assessment (CELTUA).

Core members of the program are expected to attend eight seminars and complete a reflective journal and a project. Upon completion, members will receive 1 hour of course credit, $200 for professional expenses and a certificate acknowledging their participation. Affiliate members of the program attend four sessions, complete a reflective journal, and receive a certificate acknowledging their participation.

The first meeting, “Getting an academic job,” will be held 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, and noon-1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, both located in 320 Laws (attend one). RSVP to
