Miami University students and staff are encouraged to visit the traveling C-SPAN Campaign 2012 Bus from 10-11:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, behind Benton Hall, to learn more about the 2012 presidential race and share their opinions on public affairs.

Additionally, 10 Miami students were selected to ask questions on Friday’s C-SPAN “Washington Journal” television program, which broadcasts daily, live interviews on C-SPAN with community members across the country.

These students will call in to “Washington Journal” via Skype from the C-SPAN Bus on campus to discuss political issues on live television from 8:30- 9:15 a.m. The segment will be available afterwards in an online archive.

The C-SPAN Bus program began in 1993 with the C-SPAN School Bus, and the current C-SPAN Campaign 2012 Bus has been on the road since August 2011. It is touring campuses across the country.
