Miami University's office of the registrar opens web grading Friday, Dec. 7. The office is also preparing for incomplete grade conversions from the spring and summer 2012 semesters to occur Dec. 10.
Web grading opens at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, for fall semester 2012 grade submission and remains open until noon on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Promptly at noon on Dec. 18, web grading will close and the registrar’s office will begin end-of-term processing.
Due to the fall 2012 academic calendar, the grade submission deadline (Noon, Dec. 18) falls very close to the December holidays and the university’s closure for winter break. This adds to the urgency of ensuring that grade submission deadlines are met.
Should faculty members require assistance with web grading, phone the office of the registrar at 513-529-8703 during business hours or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org at any time. (Emails will be checked during the Dec. 15-16 weekend.)
Incomplete grade conversions
At close of business on Friday, Dec. 7, per university policy, graduate level Incomplete (IG) grades and undergraduate level Incomplete (IU) grades from the spring and summer 2012 semesters will be eligible for conversion to failing (F or Y) grades on student academic records.
The process to convert incomplete grades to failing grades will run Monday morning, Dec. 10. Questions regarding the incomplete grade to failing grade conversion may be directed to the office of the registrar.
