Live, online meetings with colleagues located virtually anywhere can now be managed via Miami University's new Cisco WebEx service. With four different meeting types available, Miami faculty and staff can leverage this new tool to reduce travel time, while not sacrificing personal interaction and collaboration.
Faculty and staff will have a WebEx account created when they log in to MiamiOH.webex.com using their Miami uniqueID and password. Students may participate in meetings, but may not have an account to create or start a meeting.
You can choose a format that supports anywhere from 2 – 1,000 participants with the two basic formats. Options for up to 3,000 participants are also available. You can participate in WebEx meetings from a wide variety of platforms and devices, including Windows and Mac computers, iPads, iPhones and Android phones and tablets.
