John Dolibois to speak about his experiences as an interrogator during the Nuremberg War Trials

John Dolibois Miami (Miami '42), United States Ambassador to Luxembourg (retired), will present "Recollections of an Interrogator" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in 322 McGuffey Hall. His talk is part of the annual Genocide and Holocaust Education Program sponsored by the Center for American and World Cultures.

Dolibois is the sole surviving interrogator of some of the highest ranked Nazi war criminals including Herman Goering, Julius Streicher and Rudolf Hess. He will share his experiences as an intelligence officer during the Nuremberg War Trials.

Dolibois, a native of Luxembourg, served as vice president for university relations at Miami. He was instrumental in the development of Miami's European Study Center in Luxembourg.

Upon his retirement from Miami he was appointed by President Ronald Reagan and served from 1981 to 1985 as Ambassador to Luxembourg.

The lecture, free and open top the public, is sponsored by the Center for American and World Cultures, the department of history’s Holocaust Education Fund and the Miami University Hillel Foundation with support from many other campus organizations.
