Michael LaMattina, adjunct professor of music and principal percussionist of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform with the Concert Percussion Ensemble April 2
The Miami University Concert Percussion Ensemble, directed by William Albin, will perform a free concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in Hall Auditorium.

The program will feature Michael LaMattina, adjunct professor of percussion at Miami and principal percussionist of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, on “Marimba Spiritual” by Minoru Miki.

The program will also include “Six Invocations for the Svara Mandala” by Walter Mays and “Concerto for Timpani” by Eric Rodis, with soloist David Gayda, junior music performance and software engineering double major.
