Get started on your Healthy Miami steps today

05/06/2013

The 2013 Healthy Miami premium discount program is in full swing, along with a new easier-to-use website launched earlier this semester.

Accumulate points before Nov. 15, 2013, and save on your monthly premiums in 2014. Miami's Employee Benefits & Wellness explains how.

Accessing your points is now easier
From the Healthy Miami site, you can view your points from the My Points link on any of the pages in the site. On the My Points page you will now see a list of steps you need to complete and this list will be unique to you based on your gender and age. Steps completed will display 1 point and those that have not been recorded will display a 0. As an added convenience, uploads by Healthy Miami vendors have been increased to once per month and any points that carry over from year to year have already been pre-loaded for you to see.

What is the best way to check on my Healthy Miami status?
Everyone is encouraged to check their Healthy Miami account regularly to view their My Points page. Checking regularly will allow you to see what steps you’ve completed and what you still need to schedule. Start early, track your points, and beat the fall rush.

2013 University-Sponsored Biometric Health Screenings
Register now for your biometric health screening. Events are offered twice monthly in Oxford, and quarterly on Miami regionals. If a weekday event does not fit your schedule, McCullough-Hyde has weekend appointments at Oxford, Ross, and Brookville, Ind., locations. Registration is required and can be completed in your Healthy Miami account.
