Change Management: Flexibility Yoga Style
Based on research about how the brain processes new information and the skills used by successful change agents, this course outlines the stages of change everyone moves through. Participants learn to identify those stages and techniques for bringing themselves and their work group successfully through the change process.
1 p.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, in 150 Burkhouse Staff Development Center (Symmes Hall)
This session will tackle the essential strategies to work through conflict that can be applied to anyone from the CEO to customers. In this interactive session, participants will identify the three types of workplace conflict and the root cause of each; learn proactive strategies in managing the three destructive conflict styles in a team; and understand and effectively manage the two fundamental causes of employee conflicts.
