Cambron-McCabe receives education law award
OXFORD, Ohio -- Nelda Cambron-McCabe, professor of educational leadership at Miami University, has received the M.A. McGhehey Award from the Education Law Association (ELA).
The award is the highest recognition given by the ELA and is presented in recognition of significant contributions to the field of education law and to the ELA.
Cambron-McCabe is co-author of Public School Law: Teachers' and Students' Rights and has contributed to ELA's Yearbook of Education Law and Case Citations Series.
She was ELA president in 1994 and has chaired the national convention program committee, the finance committee and the committee to relocate the national headquarters of the association.
