Jazz Ensemble with guest artist Erwin Stuckey Nov. 19

Miami's Jazz Ensemble will perform at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, in Hall Auditorium. Featured will be Erwin Stuckey, pianist. Stuckey is a Cincinnati native who teaches jazz and percussion studies at the School for Creative and Performing Arts. He was the first student to earn a master's degree in jazz piano performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

The ensemble is directed by Tom Billing (music). Billing is a professional trombonist who has performed for more than 40 years with regional and national jazz bands.

The Jazz Ensemble will perform both traditional and modern jazz, by composers including Sonny Rollins, Jerome Kern, John Coltrane and Dave Brubeck. Admission is free and open to the public.
