Naturally 7 to perform with Miami groups Nov. 18

Naturally 7 will perform with Miami a cappella groups at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Naturally 7, a New York based, award-winning vocal group, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Hall Auditorium. The seven musicians will hold a workshop with Miami's four a cappella groups - Cheezies, Mergers, Misfitz and Remnants - and will be joined by the Miami groups for the performance.

Naturally 7 just completed a tour with Canadian vocalist Michael Buble, appearing since the fall of 2007 in concerts heard by more than 1.2 million people in Europe, Canada and the United States. Group members are Roger "N'glish" Thomas, Dwight Stewart, Rod Eldridge, Garfield Buckley, Jamal Reed, Armand Hutton and Warren Thomas. Naturally 7 first took the stage in 1999, performing original music as well as compositions by others. At first known for vocal styles, they have since broadened their repertoire to imitate instruments of all kinds in genres including soul, rap, rock and folk.

A Florida Times Union reviewer described them as "simply superb." A Vancouver Province reviewer wrote they "dazzled the crowd with seemingly supernatural a cappella."

The concert is part of Miami's Performing Arts Series, presented with funding from the Ohio Arts Council. Tickets are $24 for adults, $23 for senior citizens and $12 for students and youth. For tickets or more information, visit or call the box office, 529-3200.
