Claire Goble D'Ianni, 91, died at the Knolls of Oxford on Oct. 6. D'Ianni was a dietician at Miami University, 1947-1987, and a member of the Society of Miami Emeriti.
D'Ianni was a lecturer at Miami, 1947-52 and 1962-76. She was a member of the Oxford Presbyterian Church since 1947, a founder of Meals on Wheels, and named one of Oxford's Citizens of the Year.
D'Ianni married Robert Goble, Miami professor of teacher education, in 1942. After his death in 1986, she lived in Oxford until 1994 when she married James D'Ianni and moved to Akron. After his death last fall she returned to Oxford to live at the Knolls.
Survivors include sons Paul (Miami '70) of Vienna, Va. and David of Worthington; grandchildren include David (Miami '03).
