NPR host Diane Rehm visits Miami and WMUB

Public radio talk show host Diane Rehm will be at Miami and other locations Oct. 11-12 to help celebrate Miami radio station WMUB’s 50th anniversary on the air.

Rehm will sign copies of her book, Finding My Voice, at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Rookwood Pavilion near Cincinnati’s Hyde Park, 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11. At 7 p.m. that evening she is the guest of honor at "An Evening with Diane Rehm," a 50th anniversary reception at the Presidential Banquet Center, 4548 Presidential Way in Kettering.

On Thursday, Oct. 12, Rehm, host of "The Diane Rehm Show" for more than 20 years, will be the guest for a special edition of "WMUB Forum" at 88.5 FM at 9 a.m. and repeated at
7 p.m. The National Journal has called Rehm, whose show covers topical issues and news, "the class act of the talk radio world."

Her visit will help WMUB kick off its "Fall 50th" fund-raising drive which begins Oct. 26.

"The Diane Rehm Show" has been syndicated nationally since May 1995 and can be heard 10 a.m.-noon weekdays on WMUB.
