LTEP grants awarded

Three grants have been awarded for the 2000-2001 academic year under the learning technologies enrichment program.

Awardees, their projects and the amounts of their awards follow:

William Berg (physical education, health and sport studies), "Force Measurement Technology for Learning Enrichment," $19,955;

Mari Opatz-Muni, Alison Acord and Ethan Sperry (music), "A Vision for Voice," $12,040;

Nancy Solomon and Bruce Stein-ly (zoology), "Incorporating Interactive Web-based Resources into Honors Biology Laboratories," $16,000.

The learning technologies enrichment program is a yearly grant competition administered by the office for the advancement of scholarship and teaching to support faculty development and integration of technology in the curriculum.

Over the eight years of awards, the program has funded 65 projects for more than $682,000.
