One of "most wanted piano teachers" to perform recital, lead master class

Frank Weinstock, piano, will perform a guest artist recital at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, in Souers Recital Hall.

Weinstock performs widely as a soloist with orchestra, as a chamber musician and in solo recitals. He has been on the artist faculty at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music since 1980 and is featured in a book by Benjamin Saver, The Most Wanted Piano Teachers in the U.S.A. In addition, Weinstock is a software engineer. He is creator and author of "In Concert," which provides accompaniment to keyboard players.

Weinstock will lead a master class with selected Miami piano students of Siok Lin Tan and Robert Thomas from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in Souers.
