'Embedded' at Miami Nov. 1

“Embedded” will be performed by The Actors' Gang at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, in Hall Auditorium, part of the performing arts series.

The play, written by Academy Award-winning actor and activist Tim Robbins, examines the practice of embedding journalists with American troops in Iraq.

The play is a comment on the madness and media frenzy surrounding a modern day war in an oil-rich country named Gomorrah.

Robbins founded The Actors' Gang in 1981. Based in Los Angeles, the company has a mission to create bold, original works and perform daring reinterpretations of the classics.

The Miami performance is sponsored by Citizens of the World, the Elizabeth Wakeman Henderson Foundation and the Western College Alumnae Association and supported by a grant from the School of Fine Arts.

Tickets are $7 for students and youth, $13 for senior citizens and $14 for other adults.

Tickets are available at the Miami box office, call 9-3200 or order online at
