Learn tips for single sign-on with multiple Google accounts

This summer, a change was made to the Miami email service that allows users to access their Miami Mail account through myMiami using single sign-on.

Employes may continue to access their accounts from myMiami, however Miami mail accounts can also be accessed directly with a single login via http://mail.MiamiOH.edu.

One unfortunate outcome from this change is a restriction of the ability to sign in to multiple Miami Google accounts at the same time within the same browser window.

This affects only multiple Miami domain accounts, such as a personal Miami account and an entity account.  It does not affect personal Google accounts.

To log in to multiple Miami Google accounts, you have several options:

  • Activate Private Browsing (Google Chrome refers to this as incognito)
  • Open multiple browsers
  • Use user profiles in Chrome

All of these options are described in detail in IT Help at Logging in to Multiple Miami Mail Accounts and Creating Multiple Google Chrome Users.

To stay connected to changes from Google, and to get updates on Google Apps at Miami, visit Miami’s Google-News site, and register for regular email updates through the Google-News Group.
