Seasonal flu shots are available for employees
Seasonal flu shots are provided for Miami employees and eligible family members through the collaborative efforts of Miami Benefits & Wellness and Miami’s health services center operated by TriHealth.
Miami's health services center offers seasonal flu shots 11 a.m.-7 p.m. M-F. Appointments are encouraged but not required. Call Miami’s Convenient Care Clinic at 513-529-2607 to confirm availability of the vaccine and schedule an appointment.
Flu shots are also available Oct. 22 at Miami Middletown (8 -11 a.m., 142 Johnston) and Miami Hamilton (1-4 p.m., Wilks Conference Center).
Cost & eligibility
- No cost for all Miami employees, regardless of benefit eligibility (Miami faculty/staff ID card required)
- No cost for family members (age 18+) covered by Miami’s health plan (Humana card required)
Other notes
- Miami students contact health services for a flu shot unless on the Miami health plan.
- Miami emeriti/retirees, visit your physician or local pharmacy for a flu shot.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to get a flu shot at Miami.
- Pregnant women should consult with their physician before getting a flu shot.
- Vaccines are thimerosal free. Nasal mist is available upon request for those with allergies.
