The Miami University men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs have been named Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their success in the classroom during the spring semester.

The women’s program earned a 3.38 GPA and was one of more than 160 NCAA Division I women’s teams to receive the honor. The men’s program earned a 3.23 GPA and was one of more than 90 NCAA Division I men’s programs to receive the award.

The CSCAA has designated 658 swimming and diving teams, representing 388 colleges and universities, as Scholar All-America teams. To be selected, programs must have achieved a GPA of 3.00 or higher during the spring semester.

Both RedHawk swimming and diving programs also received the award for the fall semester.
