Miami employees are invited to learn about the university’s approach to continuous improvement, Lean concepts and Lean tools. The event will offer a variety of activities and interactive courses presented by information technology services and academic affairs and the divisions of Finance and Business Services, Enrollment Management and Student Success and University Advancement.

There will be 12 breakout presentations, peer to peer discussions, and interactive hands-on simulations at booths. In addition, there will be 15 learning stations. These include a Go Green station and stations about the civilian fingerprinting process, campus lighting efficiency, LEAN curriculum and more.

Participants can attend one of two sessions: 8:30 a.m.- noon or 1-4:30 p.m. David Creamer, senior vice president for finance and business services will kick off each session.
