Register today for the summer Chinese Language and Culture Camp. Students learn calligraphy.

Miami University’s Confucius Institute will host the fourth annual Chinese Language and Culture Camp in July for children in grades K-8. 

Participants will learn basic Chinese vocabulary, phrases and character writing. They will learn about Chinese culture through activities such as kung fu, paper cutting, mask-making and more.

All sessions are 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in 126 McGuffey Hall and will be held:

  • July 17-21 for grades K-5.
  • July 24-28 for grades 6-8 (includes rising freshman).

Note: Grade levels are determined based on fall 2017 status.

A lunch and light morning snack will be provided daily. The cost is $80 for children of Miami faculty or staff and $100 for others. Discounts are available for additional family members.
