Feb. 27 UPAC lunch includes tour of Hefner Museum of Natural History

Steve Sullivan, director of the Hefner Museum of Natural History, will give a tour of the museum as part of the unclassified personnel advisory committee (UPAC) networking lunch, noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27.

The half-hour tour will start promptly at noon. Meet at the museum, 100 Upham Hall. Afterward, participants can walk to the nearby Bell Tower Place for lunch.

The faculty/staff lunch price for the buffet is about $7.50 with the employee discount.

The museum uses exhibits, collections, specimens and interactive programs to teach visitors of all ages about biology and natural history. These exhibits and collections help them to understand and appreciate the importance of biodiversity, conservation and ecology.
