Free tickets for Miami employees and families to One Miami Weekend, Jan. 25-26

To say thank you, Miami University President Greg and Dr. Renate Crawford are inviting Miami employees and their families to attend Miami basketball and/or hockey games Jan. 25-26, at no cost. There is also a swimming and diving meet on Jan. 26 that is free.

The Crawfords want to show their gratitude and deep appreciation for employees’ commitment, dedication and exceptional service and celebrate our being “One Miami” by bringing together all campuses.

Faculty, staff and their families will receive free admission and free parking to the Miami basketball doubleheader on Jan. 26 and also free admission to one of the Jan. 25-26 Miami hockey games. They do not need a ticket to attend the swimming and diving meet on Jan. 26.

One ticket gains entrance to BOTH basketball games. Between games there will be a carnival on the concourse with an inflatable feature, games and activities for younger fans.

Faculty and staff may choose to attend one of the hockey games, whichever night fits best into your schedule. A maximum of four (4) complimentary tickets will be provided to faculty/staff and their families for one of the games.

Additional tickets may be purchased at the group rate of $20 per ticket. All available reserved seats were filled before standing-room-only tickets were distributed, and they were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

At this time, standing-room-only tickets for both hockey games are available. In the first media timeout of the first half, standing-room-only patrons may occupy seats in the building if patrons holding those seats are not present. If the reserved seat ticket holder shows up late, they do still have the right to their reserved location even after the first media timeout.
