It’s Cyber Security Month: Learn how to protect yourself
Once again Miami is taking part in recognizing the importance of National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) with a variety of events on the Oxford, Hamilton and Middletown campuses.
An information booth will be available at various locations on each campus throughout the month of October. Stop by to learn about how you can better protect yourself, your information and your devices, as well as meet Miami’s information security staff and spin the prize wheel.
Information and cyber security continues to grow as a significant issue for higher education and for individuals everywhere. Because of this, October has been deemed as National Cyber Security Awareness Month. It was created as a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure every American has the resources they need to stay safer and more secure online.
This year is the 12th year for NCSAM.
