Need to have a local record check completed? We will be more than happy to assist you in obtaining the information you need. Our Records Unit will perform a records check. A short form needs be completed and payment for the service will be collected. The record check will be performed and a letter will be issued with the results of the records check.
We are only able to check Miami University Police Department records
Please note - You will need to go to Oxford Police Department for a check of their records, Oxford Township Police Department for a check of their records, and the Butler County Sheriff's Office for a check of their records. The cost of a records check is
$10.00. You will need to provide proof of identification.

No appointment is needed
The Records Unit is open during the academic year Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. During summer sessions we are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm to assist you in obtaining a record check.
