First Time Degree-Seeking Student Application Checklist

  • Complete the Application for Admission.
  • Pay the $35 non-refundable application fee. Miami University's regional locations want to make sure that application fees do not pose a barrier for any student who wishes to apply for admission. If you feel that your financial circumstances might qualify you for an application fee waiver, please email muregionalsadmission@MiamiOH.edu. Miami also grants fee waivers to U.S. Veterans and Military Personnel. Applicants may select those options when filling out the application.
  • Submit official high school transcript* or GED test scores.
  • Send your ACT or SAT scores directly from the testing agency or as part of your high school transcript. (Note: If you have been out of high school two years, these scores are not required.)

*Note: Former PSEO or CCP students are considered to be first-time degree-seeking students. If you have previously earned college credit while attending high school, have your official college transcript sent to the Office of Admission. If you have earned Miami University credit, you do not need to send the transcript. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the granting institution or state Department of Education. If you tested in Ohio, you may visit the Ohio Department of Education for further information.
