CTL Conversations: Knocking on Doors
“Knocking on Doors,” this year’s CTL theme, engages significant questions for teaching and learning at an open-access institution: What policies and practices represent closed doors?; What and who are on the other side(s) of these doors?; and in what specific ways do students, staff, and teachers knock on and open doors?
Conversations are held once per month and run from 11:30 am—12:30 pm.
MUM Excellence in Teaching Award
Each year the CTL sponsors the selection of a full-time and a part-time faculty member to receive the Excellence in Teaching Award. Learn more about the MUM CTL Teaching Award.
Small Group Instructional Diagnosis (SGID)
We encourage all faculty to make use of the Small Group Instructional Diagnosis (SGID). SGIDs allow faculty to receive feedback from their students about their courses in progress. Go to the About SGID page to learn more.
