Miami University junior Ethan Klein named a Goldwater Scholar

Miami names Ande Durojaiye dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science at the Regionals
Ande Durojaiye has been named dean of Miami University Regionals, College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science (CLAAS). He will start July 1. Durojaiye is the interim provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at Northern Kentucky University (NKU).

Miami University Regionals to pilot program designed to help students dealing with attention and learning difficulties
Miami University Regionals is launching a pilot program that will help incoming students that may be dealing with attention and learning difficulties. The program, called Fusion, will provide supplementary assistance for students dealing with Executive Function (EF) challenges.

Miami Regionals Appalachian Studies announces Industrial Strength Bluegrass Project
Since 2017, Miami University Regionals has been at the forefront of the Southwestern Ohio Bluegrass Music Heritage Project. This project has drawn on scholars, artists, archivists, and musicians in greater Cincinnati and the Miami Valley to explore the region's rich bluegrass heritage and make it accessible to the public and researchers.

AAUW's Middletown branch blazing trails for women in Middletown and beyond
When the pandemic took hold last year, a number of students found themselves without resources to meet the basic needs of food and shelter, much less tuition and books. Fortunately for several students, dollars from the Regionals Student Emergency Fund were there to assist them. Among the contributors to aid in meeting those needs was the American Association of University Women – Middletown branch. Their gift of $1,150 scholarship helped with tuition, books and other life necessities made a difference for two students this year.
