Discovery Café

Discovery Café is a fun, casual -- and free! -- way to find out what’s new and next in nearly every field, from art to mechanical engineering to zoology. At each café, some of Miami University’s most dynamic researchers, scholars, and artists share their research findings and creative discoveries. Then you and the rest of the audience get a chance to ask questions and engage in conversation. All that, and refreshments too!

Discovery Café is sponsored by the Office for the Advancement of Research & Scholarship in celebration of the Year of Creativity & Innovation. It is modeled on the Science Café concept originated by the PBS documentary series Nova.
