The Bachelor of Music in Performance degree program provides the broad, pre-professional training required for advanced study in music and, ultimately, for entry into the profession. At Miami performance opportunities abound, in solo, chamber, and ensemble settings.
The Department of Music responds to initiative. In nearly every semester students themselves devise, produce, and present a number of special public concerts.
The Bachelor of Music in Performance degree comes in two flavors: one for voice students and one for instrumental students, i.e., orchestral instruments and piano.
Voice: See the course of study (in the Miami General Bulletin) or view a four-year sample degree plan in PDF format.
