Lavender Graduation Ceremony

Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony conducted on numerous campuses to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer+ and ally students and to acknowledge and honor their achievements and contributions to the University. The Lavender Graduation Ceremony was created in 1995 at University of Michigan by Dr. Ronni Sanlo, a Jewish Lesbian, who was denied the opportunity to attend the graduations of her children because of her sexual orientation. We are delighted to continue this legacy and have you be a part of not only the national tradition, but also of our Miami tradition. Lavender Graduation is free and open to all members of the Miami University campus community

This years celebration is Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 12 pm in McGuffey Hall, 322. Reception with refreshments will immediately follow the ceremony.
