Greek Spring Clean

The following opportunities allow Greek students to maximize their involvement within the community.

Greek Spring Clean

Held in usually March or April, Greek Spring Clean brings the Greek Life Community together to help volunteer throughout the local Oxford and Miami area. Featuring local officials, and hundreds of Greek Life students, the project works to assist those in need in the nearby areas, while continuing to build the relationships between Greek Life students and Oxford residents.

Partnership with the Office of Community Engagement and Service

The Office of Community Engagement and Service is committed to making both community service and service-learning focal points of the undergraduate experience. We endeavor to develop and provide resources to assist students, faculty and staff who wish to engage in community service and service-learning projects. The site is designed to provide you with information, ideas, and resources to help you pursue your interests in these areas.

The Adopt-A-School Program

The implementation of Miami's "Adopt-A-School" Program continues to profoundly impact the oxford community. The program was initiated in the Fall of 1989, but the Fraternity/Sorority Community to aid the Talawanda School District in their efforts to maintain excellent educational programs for the community's young people. Students serve as tutors in the classroom and become role models for the students with whom they work closely with.
