RE: Grade Contesting/Academic Appeals for Recruitment

Thank you for your interest in joining the Fraternity and Sorority Community at Miami. The description below outlines the process for students who have not met academic requirements but are currently contesting/appealing a grade. Please be aware the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils, in partnership with the Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, will evaluate grade contesters/appeals on a case by case basis. We will work with students and faculty members through this process. Students will not be allowed to begin the recruitment process if we do not have confirmation from faculty that they are working on the grade being contested by the deadlines listed below.   It is the students responsibility to make sure all faculty confirmations are received before the deadlines below. Grade change correspondence received after the deadlines will not be considered.
