January Orientation, for first year and transfer students and their families, is a one-and-a-half day program that helps new students learn about academic and co-curricular life at Miami, meet other new students, learn about campus resources, receive academic advising, and register for spring semester classes.
New students who live on campus and participate in the January Orientation program will be able to move into their residence hall rooms starting at 8am on the morning of Thursday, January 22, 2015 (extra charges apply). Students should first go to the HOME Office (Housing Options, Meals and Events) at 111 Shriver Center to get their Miami ID, which serves as the residence hall key to their on-campus room.
