LSAMP Early Arrival Program

August 18-22, 2018

LSAMP (Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation) is a program funded by the National Science Foundation to increase the number of underrepresented STEM workers and graduate students. The objectives of the Early Arrival Program are to teach the basics of scientific research and study methods that will help new students succeed at Miami University.

The LSAMP Early Arrival Program is free for all LSAMP eligible participants and includes programming, housing and meals. Students accepted into this program must be pursuing a supportable STEM degree (or to be undecided); from an ethnic group underrepresented in the sciences (African American, Native American, Hispanic, Native Alaskan or Pacific Islander); and be a US Citizen or permanent resident.

Please note that LSAMP Early Arrival Program attendees must also be accepted into MADE@Miami, and that LSAMP cannot accept international students.
