2017 U-Lead Registration Form Questions

Online registration for the 2017 U-Lead Program is now available! Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis for the first 50 students to register.



Preview of the Participant Registration Form (Available May 1st at 5pm)

The following items must be submitted for participant registration for the 2017 U-Lead program. The registration form will open on Monday, May 1 at 5pm EST. It is an expectation for students to register for themselves. If this is not possible at the time of registration, please prepare responses to items listed below to be used when filling out the electronic registration form.

  • U-Lead 2017 will take place Monday, August 21-Thursday, August 24.
  • Participation in the 2017 U-Lead experience is on a first-come first-serve basis for up to 50 incoming first-year Miami students.

Accommodations & Questions Section

Responses to the following information will not impact your participation status in the 2017 U-Lead program, but will be utilized to ensure appropriate follow-up and accommodations throughout the program.

Bio Book Information Section

Responses to the following information will not impact your participation status in the 2017 U-Lead programbut will be included in the U-Lead 2017 Bio Book which will be shared with facilitators and participants in the experience.

There will be a place to attach an optional photo to be included in the U-Lead 2017 Bio Book in the registration form. Attaching a photo is not mandatory. Please make sure this photo chosen does not include anyone but you.

Confirmation of Participation Section

Agreeance to the following statements is mandatory for participation in the 2017 U-Lead program.

  • I acknowledge that I am only signing up for one Miami Bound or pre-semester experience, and by registering for U-Lead, I am not eligible to register for other Miami Bound or pre-semester experiences.
  • I understand that all Miami Bound or pre-semester program sign-ups, including U-Lead, are on a first come, first serve basis.
  • I understand upon receiving my email confirmation of participation in U-Lead, I am expected to attend all U-Lead sessions and activities Monday, August 21-Thursday, August 24.
  • I understand that if I complete this form and register as a participant in U-Lead, my Bursar bill will be charged $125, and this bill will be due with my tuition and fees in mid-August unless I receive a scholarship award.
  • I understand that after completing this form, I will receive an email providing information regarding my status in the 2017 U-Lead program.
