Welcome to Miami

Welcome Weekend & First 50 Days features more than 100 programs sponsored by 40+ campus departments. There is something for everyone! Many of the programs over that first weekend (Thursday, August 23 - Sunday, August 26) are required for the whole first-year class, so please plan to attend. New students will receive instructions from resident assistants (RAs) or via email (particularly for commuter students) regarding events that all students are expected to attend.
