Key Offices for Teaching Enhancement (Oxford)

  • Center for Teaching Excellence: offers long- and short -term learning communities for faculty growth and inquiry; sponsors workshops and conferences on teaching as well as several journals; and provides consultation on assessment of student learning outcomes
  • Center for Teaching & Learningembodies and promotes engagement with scholarly and reflective teaching practices in order to support the intellectual development of regional faculty, staff, and students on-campus and online.
  • Howe Center for Writing Excellence: offers one-on-one tutoring on writing for students; provides consultation to faculty on writing instruction and assignments; sponsors workshops on teaching writing
  • Office of Liberal Educationhelps students and faculty to understand and creatively transform human culture and society by giving them the tools to ask questions, examine assumptions, exchange views with others, and become a better global citizen.
  • Student Disability Services: provides support and accommodations for students with disabilities and consultation for faculty working with students with disabilities.
