Miami University acquires new Steinway pianos
Department of Music piano faculty with students displaying a banner as Miami journeys to become an All Steinway School.Miami University recently purchased a number of Steinway & Sons pianos for the Department of Music as part of an ongoing initiative to reach their goal of becoming an All Steinway School, a distinction shared by the finest music schools and conservatories in the world.

Celebrating the acceptance of the Oxford community into the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities are members of City Council and the Oxford VillAGE Network Steering Committee (from left) Steve Schnabl, Catherine Hollins, Jessie Leek, Mayor Kate Rousmaniere, Ann Whelpton and Steve Dana. Oxford named ‘Age-Friendly Community’ by AARP Efforts to make the community “a great place to live for all ages” received a boost recently when the city was notified of acceptance into the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities.
