Coaching Minor

(20 semester hours)

The minor in coaching allows students to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to coach at the youth, interscholastic, and intercollegiate levels of sport. Completion of the minor requirements results in certification by the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the National Federation of State High School Associations (required for interscholastic coaches). Students majoring in Sport Leadership and Management are NOT eligible for this minor.
