ENG 262M Children’s Literature for Middle Childhood (3)
Study of literature for grades 4-9 with emphasis on literary analysis and interpretation. Literary themes and social issues pertinent to this age group will be considered, as will the selection and evaluation of literature for upper- elementary and middle school grades. CAS-B.
Notes: open only to Middle Childhood Language Arts majors who have completed the Composition and Rhetoric requirement. Credit for graduation will not be given for more than one of ENG 262 and 262M.
