MTH 407/507 Mathematical Structures Through Inquiry (3) MPC

MTH 407 is open only to middle childhood education majors; MTH 507 is open only to PreK-9 teachers. Study of the structure of mathematical systems, especially number systems, developed through student-centered inquiry: pattern recognition, generalizing conjecturing, and proof.

Prerequisite: nine semester hours of MTH/STA courses including MTH 217 and 218 or permission of instructor.
