Sport Leadership and Management- Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health
The Sport Leadership and Management (SLAM) major prepares students to succeed in leadership positions in the sport industry (recreational to professional, youth to adult) by providing them with knowledge and skills to critically analyze and innovatively engage in the business and culture of sport.

KNH Department requirement of a minimum of 9 credits (or 3 courses) in KNH outside the SLAM major or specific area of concentration; multiple course levels required.

Note: Sport Journalism is a collaborative dual degree program in partnership with the Department of Communication. Students must complete a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Journalism, and then by fulfilling all SLAM basic requirements and this concentration requirement, will also obtain a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health. Students cannot complete this concentration in SLAM and get a B.S. degree in KNH without fulfilling the requirements for a B.A. in Journalism (dual degree requirement).

Students cannot complete this concentration in SLAM and get a B.S. degree in KNH without fulfilling the requirements for a Bachelor of Arts (dual degree requirement).
