FAFSA and Priority Deadlines

With the launch and availability of the FAFSA on October 1, Miami now has two FAFSA priority deadlines. Students wishing to be considered for need-based financial aid are encouraged to submit their FAFSA by the Priority I Deadline of December 1, 2016, and no later than the Priority II Deadline of February 1, 2017. Students applying Early Decision are strongly encouraged to submit the FAFSA by December 1, 2016. Students submitting the FAFSA any time up to the Priority II Deadline of February 1, 2017 will receive priority consideration for all Miami need-based aid.

Miami's Tuition Promise

Miami's Tuition Promise provides the predictability and assurance families need to plan financially for a college education. Miami's Tuition Promise provides all first-time undergraduate students and their families the certainty that Tuition (Instructional Fee and General Fee), Room & Board, Special Purpose Fees, and Course Fees will be frozen over the four years of a student's Miami experience. Stability in costs also means that renewable scholarships and financial aid dollars will retain their value over the entire four-year period.
