Reporting to the University

If you are in an emergency situation, dial 911 immediately for law enforcement and/or medical assistance.

University investigations involving a student are conducted bythe Title IX Investigator within the Office of Community Standards. What about investigations that DO NOT involve a student? This is not addressed.

During a University investigation, the Investigator gathers evidence in order to make a determination if it is reasonable to believe a policy violation may have occurred. If the Investigator finds reasonable cause, disciplinary action is initiated against the Respondent. If the Investigator is unable to find reasonable cause, disciplinary action is not intitated. However, the Complainant may still initiate a disciplinary complaint against the Respondent. MAKES NO SENSE
