This report highlights findings from a survey of the guardianship practices of Ohio’s probate courts. In a first of its kind survey, this study examined the challenges faced by the probate courts in managing guardianships, the resources used to support guardians and persons under guardianship, and the promising practices that have emerged as courts work to help persons under guardianship live a high-quality life and to help guardians be successful in executing their responsibilities.
