The Department offers a summer intensive Chinese program in Tianjin, China. Hosted at Tianjin Foreign Studies University--an institution with a well-established program teaching Chinese to foreign students—the program offers Chinese language on all levels as well as a culture course. Students can earn as many as nine Miami credits in six weeks. In addition, they visit famous historical and cultural attractions.
