The Richard A. Ludwin Media and Communication Scholarships

Rick Ludwin

Rick Ludwin (1948-2019) was a highly accomplished broadcast executive who got his start in television in our program at Miami University and eventually became vice president at NBC Television.

As an intensely loyal alum of media at Miami, Rick returned “home" every year to lecture, meet Media and Communication students, and share his wisdom. He also generously funded the Richard A. Ludwin Media and Communication Scholarships, a $10 million fund for students with financial need and a passion for media and communication.

Ludwin Scholarships range from $2,500-10,000 per year and are renewable for four years as long as students maintain good standing in the Media and Communication major and have continued financial need.

If you would like to be considered for a Ludwin Scholarship, please complete this form by May 1.
