Miami University is well-known nationally for its dedication to undergraduate education. The Physics Department together with some Engineering faculty is now offering an NSF funded Research Experience for Undergraduate students (REU) during the summer of 2021.

The REU will take place during a ten-week period in the summer and will support a cohort of up to ten students. Students are working in small teams with other students in close collaboration with a faculty mentor from Physics or Engineering. In addition to working in the laboratory, there will be social and team-bonding events, opportunities for professional development activities, and interactions with students from other REU’s on campus.
